Port Fletcher Massachusetts is the home of the first official Doorway to another dimension known as The Alternate, where a race of people with superhuman abilities known as Anomalies dwell in a geographical mirror image of our world. Ever since the early 1900’s when the founder of The Everett Corporation, or Evercorp, opened that Doorway, the city has been the strongest connection to The Alternate and the Anomalies within. This discovery, along with a number of other astounding technological advances, has made Evercorp one of the leading powers world-wide.

These days, with Evercorp’s aggressive attempts to rein in Anomalies with regulations and covert monitoring, tensions have begun to run high. A war is brewing between the strong-willed, paranoid force that is Evercorp and the residents of The Alternate who have, for the most part, complied with the ridiculous restrictions imposed on them.

This fear of the Anomalies has, very recently, been heightened with an onslaught of masked criminals and the vigilantes determined to bring them to justice. These Anomalies and Humans alike operate outside of the law and just out of Evercorp's jurisdiction, making them a force to be reckoned with indeed.

You may be forced to take sides or have one chosen for you, but whatever you do, remember that those you trust the most could very well be on the other team.
