Personality:
Samuel Greengrass values blood purity, but at the same time is not prejudiced against those whom are of half blood and muggle birth. Samuel see's blood purity as something which simply makes a wizard or witch better than they already are, it makes them superior to the Half and muggle born wizard/witches, but it does not give them the right to discriminate upon them. Sam believes you cannot claim superiority if you do not give everyone a equal chance at greatness.

Samuel is usually grim face and serious when working though he is more than willing to make witty comments if they come into his mind. Samuel is also a aggressive person when on the job, he is hotblooded when it comes to situations. He is willing to use his brain, but at the same time, that is only if his brute force tactics do not work, or if the brute force tactics seem like a suicidal option.

Samuel values power and wealth, he desires it for it is only fitting of a family as noble as his, but at the same time he is not willing to sacrifice his family and friends to achieve his goal of power and wealth. Samuel is willing to do many moral dubious actions if it means he can gain power and wealth, but there are certain lines that Samuel is unwilling to cross.

History:
Samuel Greengrass is the son of Edward and Elizabeth Greengrass, he was born in Godric Hollow's on September 26 1949. His family, the Greengrass were according to the Pureblood directory one of the Sacred Twenty Eight, or the twenty eight wizardry families which were considered to be truly pureblooded. Samuel's parents were strong upholders of blood purity, but they were more into Wizarding Supremacy. Samuel was raised to believe that blood purity made you a better wizard, but simply being magical makes you superior to all the Muggles, thus Samuel is not discriminatory toward Halfbloods and Muggle born wizards/witches, though Samuel looks down upon Muggles, and sees them as truly inferior to those with magical talent in every way possible.

When Samuel attended Hogwarts, he was sorted into the Slytherin's due to his ambitions. Samuel was always a ambitious person, he was willing to break rules if he needed to for his ambitions and did not find the action to be too despicable. When Samuel studied in Hogwarts he was part of Horace Slughorn's club for students whom had shown talents. Samuel during his studies at Hogwarts attended, DADA, Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Herbology, Astronomy, History of Magic and Alchemy. Samuel also partook in flying extra-curricular activities, and when he turned seventeen took part in the Apparition courses. Samuel graduated from Hogwarts with:

After Samuel graduated, he applied to become a Auror, and latter passed the evaluations and further training required for the profession. Samuel is dedicated to his job, he enjoys the works and always performs his best when working. Samuel has been working for the Auror for about ten or so years. During the First Wizarding War, Samuel fought against Voldemort and his Deatheaters, he found Voldemort distasteful. Samuel was not a person whom supported the discrimination of Half bloods and Muggle born wizards even though he strongly believed in blood purity and that blood purity would give you advantages.

Samuel is married to Lisette Greengrass nee Ashworth, whom he met during one of his frequent stay in St.Mungos. Samuel was a frequent guest of St.Mungos due to his work as a Auror, and first struck up a friendship with Lisette whom worked as a Healer at St.Mungos. Their friendship latter developed into a relationship. Samuel and Lisette have two children, Daphne and Astoria, aged fourteen and eleven respectively.

Samuel is not a team player and frequently works alone as a Auror, but he has recently been assigned as a partner to another Auror whose previous partner died while they attempted to apprehend a criminal. Samuel himself is not pleased that he now has to work with another Auror, preferring to work alone, but at the same time he has grown to consider his partner to be a friend.
